When I first found out about Ryans condition all I wanted to do was run outside and yell at the top of my voice

'WHY HIM??' (which I have done since on several nights)

But then I stopped and thought, there are people all around the world suffering every day for various reasons and Ryan hadn't been carefuly selected for some sick reason, just that the world is a very cruel place.

I came up with several different ideas on how to raise money for my sister & brother-in-law who had had to, after a week of re-locating to Spain, fly Ryan home to be in a specialist hospital and find somewhere to live - QUICK!

But due to my work commitments and long hours I couldn't commit to anything, and got angry!

So I sat back and realised my answer was at my fingertips. I WORK IN MEDIA! And that I should use my knowledge of the technical & arty (yes I'm still learning) to spread the word that donating Blood, Umbilical Cords and being on the Bone Marrow Register is one of the easiest, best things people, that can, could do!
